Disney fans who love spotting hidden details are going to have a field day with the upcoming Muppets takeover of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster. Walt Disney Imagineering recently shared that the reimagined attraction is packed with nods to Muppet history, fan-favorite attractions, and even the original Aerosmith version.

Imagineers say the Easter eggs begin the moment guests enter the queue and continue throughout the ride and exit areas. Sharp-eyed guests may notice props and references spanning decades of Muppet history, along with callbacks to the recently retired MuppetVision 3D experience.

Longtime fans of the original Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster won’t be left out either. Disney has included subtle tributes honoring the attraction’s Aerosmith-era legacy, giving the new Muppets version a fun connection to the ride’s past.

Guests will also find deeper Muppet references throughout the attraction, including nods to classic films, television appearances, and memorable moments from the franchise’s long history. Some details even appear to pay tribute to the legacy of Muppet creator Jim Henson.

The newly reimagined Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets opens May 26, and it sounds like Disney designed this one to reward repeat rides. The first trip may be about surviving the launch and inversions - the second might be all about hunting Easter eggs.
