Disney World Dining Guide 2026

Food is a huge part of the Walt Disney World experience. From world-class table service restaurants to legendary quick service bites, this guide covers the best dining options at every park, how to book reservations, and tips to save time and money.

How to Book Dining Reservations (ADRs)

Advanced Dining Reservations (ADRs) are how you book table service restaurants at Disney World. Popular spots can book up months in advance — planning ahead is essential.

  • 1Disney Resort hotel guests can book 60 days before arrival for their entire length of stay. All other guests book 60 days before each individual dining date.
  • 2Book through the My Disney Experience app or at disneyworld.disney.go.com/dining.
  • 3A credit card is required to hold most reservations. Cancellation within 2 hours of the reservation time typically incurs a $10 per person fee.
  • 4Check back regularly — cancellations open up slots, even for fully booked restaurants. The app refreshes availability frequently.
  • 5Walk-up waitlists are available in the MDE app on the day of your visit — worth checking for last-minute spots.

General Disney World Dining Tips

  • Mobile order everything — the MDE app lets you pre-order quick service meals and pick a return window. Saves 20–30 minutes per meal.
  • Eat at off-peak times — arrive at QS locations before 11:30am or after 2:00pm to avoid the lunch rush. Same rule applies for dinner: eat at 5:00pm or 8:00pm instead of 6:30pm.
  • Share plates — Disney portions are large. Splitting a QS entree is often more than enough.
  • Snacks count — Disney's snack game is legendary. Budget time for Dole Whip (Magic Kingdom), school bread (Epcot/Norway), and churros.
  • Check the restaurant wait times page — our live restaurant wait times page shows current waits so you can plan your meals around the crowds.
