Understanding Disney World Park Hours
Early Theme Park Entry
- Available to all guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel, select Disney Springs Resort Area hotels, and Swan, Dolphin & Swan Reserve.
- Grants entry 30 minutes before the official park opening time.
- All four parks participate every day.
- A great opportunity to ride top attractions before the crowds build — especially useful at Magic Kingdom (Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, TRON) and Hollywood Studios (Tiana's Bayou Adventure, Rise of the Resistance).
Extended Evening Hours
- Available exclusively to guests staying at Disney Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resort hotels.
- Offers 2 extra hours in select parks after regular closing time, typically on select nights.
- Check the My Disney Experience app for which park is hosting Extended Evening Hours on your visit date.
- Crowds are extremely light during this period — one of the best perks of staying deluxe.
Tips for Making the Most of Park Hours
- Arrive before park open — even 15–20 minutes early makes a big difference, especially on busy days.
- Book Lightning Lane as soon as the park opens (or earlier if using the Multi Pass).
- Visit headliner rides first in the morning — wait times double and triple by midday.
- Take a midday break — crowds and heat peak between noon and 4pm. Return refreshed for evening hours.
- Evenings are underrated — many guests leave after fireworks, making late-night a hidden low-crowd window.
